Sam Adams Speaks About Education to Students at South Park High School

(Buffalo) - Junior Achievement of WNY, Inc. (JA) is pleased to bring Sam Adams, All Pro Defensive Tackle for the Buffalo Bills, to the students at South Park High School. Through JA's initiative, Sam will be visiting the 12th grade students (all of whom will be involved in JA programs this year) on Tuesday, October 18th at 9:30am. Sam will speak to the students about the importance of staying in school, respecting others, building character and setting goals. South Park High School is located at 150 Southside Parkway in Buffalo.

Sam is no stranger to Junior Achievement as he has been involved with the organization when he played with the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. He will continue to support Junior Achievement locally by serving as the celebrity chair for JA's 22nd Annual Bowl-A-Thon. This event will take place on Saturday March 11, 2006 at AMF Airport Lanes, AMF Thruway Lanes and Transit Lanes. Companies recruit teams of five players each that will help raise pledges for JA programs here in our community all the while enjoying two games of bowling at either a 9am, 12 noon of 3pm shift.
