Battle Creek Knights News Release

Salvation Army's services and activities will be featured at the May 19th Battle Creek Knights game.

Discount Tickets are available for this game and must be purchased through participating Salvation Army staff/friends or the Battle Creek Knights team office (McCamly Place) for $4.00. The Salvation Army will receive $2.00 from every $4.00 ticket purchased through SA staff and friends or through the BC Knights team office. Salvation Army volunteers will be selling programs before and during the May 19th game. All money raised from the event will help support The Salvation Army's Soup Kitchen and Family Assistance Office.

We will be collecting non-perishable food items and giving away prizes. Prizes include: a girls bike, a boys bike and a goody bag full of prizes. For each non-perishable food item you donate, your name will be entered into the drawing of your choice. (Volunteers are still needed to help with this special event.)

All non-perishable food donations (made at this game) will benefit The Salvation Army's emergency food pantry.

Purchase a ticket from The Salvation Army or the Battle Creek Knights team office, come out to the game, donate non-perishable food items to be eligible to enter prize drawings and enjoy a great night watching our Battle Creek Knights play Phoenix. For more information concerning this event, ticket purchase and/or volunteering, please contact Marcie Gothard, Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator at 269-963-3640 ext. 17. The Salvation Army is a United Way program delivery partner.
