Salt Lake City Saints News Release

Salt Lake City, UT. Kenny Wamsley, owner of the ABA Salt Lake City Saints, announced the teams' second free agent tryout to be held at Salt Lake Community College on Redwood Road, Saturday, November 1st at 7pm.

"The Saints first tryout was a success," stated Wamsley. "We found several players that have earned a spot at our Veterans Camp later this month. We plan to find the best of the quality players to take to camp and decide which players we will take into the 2008 season. We are expecting some real talent and veteran participation with local names like Darius Beard, Lossie Mitchel, Myron Simms and Tyler Jones, plus local college names like Ricky Johns and Chucky Overton, so it should be a great turnout."

The Lifetime Activities Center at Salt Lake Community College is located at 4600 South Redwood Road. Each player will be asked to sign a waiver and the cost is $150 per player, pre-registered. At the door, walk-ins will be charged $175. Any player that is invited to Veterans Camp will be refunded his fee. All email registrations should include Players name, height, position, college, professional experience and agent contact if available.

The Saints website will be up shortly with information and details on the upcoming season. To reach the Saints for more details, call 801 673 9317 or email slcsaints@aol.com or www.myspace.com/slcsaints. Or visit www.abalive.com.
