
Salmon Kings Round Out Hockey Operations Staff

Victoria, BC - The Save-on Foods Memorial Centre and the Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today Jeff Harris as the new Director of Media and Community Relations and Mike Hildenbrand as the new Head Equipment Manager.
"The entire Salmon Kings organization would like to welcome both Jeff and Mike to our club," Dan Belisle Vice President of Hockey Operations and General Manager said. "We look forward to the expertise they add to our team.
JEFF HARRIS
Jeff relocates to Victoria from Calgary where he worked as the Assistant Communications Coordinator for the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League last season.
Jeff will be responsible for the effective representation of the organization within the public scope. He will be charged with the execution and creation of community initiatives, and will be the main contact point for all media in relation to team and arena events.
Jeff will also be the play-by-voice for all Salmon Kings games on the B2 Networks available at www.salmonkings.com.
Jeff brings 19 years of varied experience within minor and professional sports to the Salmon Kings. He also has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Communication from Mount Royal College in Calgary.
MIKE HILDENBRAND
Mike relocates to Victoria from Stratford, Ontario where he worked as the Head Equipment Manager for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League last season.
Mike is responsible for the equipment inventory, repairs and skate sharpening. He will also be accompanying the team on all road trips.
This will be Mike's fourth season working as an equipment manager. Previous to his year in Windsor, he spent two years with the Listowell Cyclones of the Midwestern Junior Hockey League.
Mike will join Dave Zarn, the team's athletic therapist, as the primary members of the organization's training staff.
The Salmon Kings will kick off their fourth season in the ECHL in Idaho on Oct 19, 2007, and will host the Las Vegas Wranglers for the Home Opener Series on Oct 26 and 27.
