
Saints Make Roster Cuts

SAN ANGELO â The San Angelo Saints today are releasing their current Training Camp Roster after the first wave of cuts was made this past weekend. These 18 players are tentatively set to begin the season for the Saints, but the list is subject to change if other personnel moves are made later this week. The current roster includes:
Defensemen Corri Moffat, Brent Currie, Ryan Reid, Brad Cook, Matt Frick, Graeme Beattie (BEET-y) and Corbie Kent.
Forwards Troy Mann, Jamie Thompson, Chris Peach, Kori Davison, Jeff Cheeseman, Jason Abel, Jarrett Metz, Blake Sheane (SHANE) and Cory Pecush (pe-KOOSH).
Goaltenders Jamie Ronayne & Scott Reid
Players released from Training Camp include defensemen Sandis Girvitch, Derek McKinlay and Rolf Stamenov; forwards Mikhail Salienko and Kori Handy; and goaltenders Bill Ruggiero and Dave Marlin.
The Saints are now conducting practices at the San Angelo Coliseum after spending last week in Belton, TX waiting for the new dasher boards and ice plant to be installed at their home rink. The practices this week are set for 10 a.m. each day, but are closed to the public until City crews finish installing the glass and protective netting. The Saints start the season at home this Friday, October 18th at 7:05 p.m. against the El Paso Buzzards â then host the arch-rival Odessa Jackalopes at 7:05 p.m. Saturday. Season tickets, multi-game packs and single-game tickets are currently on sale at the San Angelo Convention Center. Group rates and a new Family Section at the coliseum are also available now.
