WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats are excited to continue the season-long Festival of Baseball with this week's homestand theme: Wild West.
Saddle up, Sacramento! The Wild West is riding into Sutter Health Park as the River Cats transform the ballpark into the frontier for some western-themed fun. From cowboy hats and country vibes to can't-miss pregame BBQ, fans are invited to round up their crew and head to the ballpark for a weekend that's wilder than the West itself. Homestand highlights include:
- Friday, August 7: Camo T-Shirt Giveaway
- Saturday, August 8: Wild West Night
- Sunday, August 9: Buckaroo BBQ
Friday, August 7: Camo T-Shirt Giveaway
GIVEAWAY: You can't miss this giveaway...or can you? The first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a Camo River Cats T-Shirt. It may blend in, but it's sure to stand out in your gameday wardrobe.
PREGAME HAPPY HOUR: Join us every Friday in the Beer Garden for happy hour and live music! This week features DJ Joesph One spinning a setlist of country western hits. Enjoy $3 off select pours from gates to first pitch. Happy Hour specials are also available in the Sky River Casino Solon Club and Jackson Rancheria Legacy Club.
SMUD ORANGE FRIDAY: The Sacramento River Cats rep their Sactown orange jerseys every Friday in tribute to parent affiliate, the San Francisco Giants.
Saturday, August 8: Wild West Night and Sutter Health Fireworks Saturday
On August 8, Wild West Night brings frontier fun to the ballpark! Saddle up for themed entertainment, classic Western vibes, and River Cats baseball with a rugged twist. Grab your boots and join us at the ballpark!
Sactown Hoedown will lead pregame line dancing in the Sactown Smokehouse from gates opening at 5:37 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. They will return for another 30-minute set during the game from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. All experience levels are welcome!

Sunday, August 9: Buckaroo BBQ and Kids Rule Sunday
Saddle up for a rootin' tootin' day at Sutter Health Park! The Buckaroo BBQ ticket pack includes a game ticket and access to a pregame BBQ meal loaded with barbecue favorites including smoked bbq ribs, bbq chicken, Mac n cheese and more. Close out the Wild West weekend the right way!
