
Sacramento Republic FC Forward Thomas Stewart Undergoes Foot Surgery

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 4, 2015) - Sacramento Republic FC forward Thomas Stewart underwent a successful minor foot surgery Tuesday, March 3, at UC Davis Medical Center.
Republic FC team physician Dr. Eric Giza preformed the Kidner procedure on Stewart's left foot for a type II accessory navicular. Dr. Giza removed an extra piece of Stewart's navicular bone located on the superior/medial side of the foot.
Stewart will begin rehab this week and is expected to return in four to six weeks.
