
Sacramento Monarchs waive Antionette Wells and Erin Batth

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., May 14, 2007 - The Sacramento Monarchs today announced that the organization has waived centers Antionette Wells and Erin Batth.
The Monarchs invited Wells to Training Camp in April. She appeared in two preseason games with the Monarchs playing seven minutes in the May 11 game at Seattle and playing nine minutes, scoring two points and grabbing two rebounds in the May 13 game versus the Phoenix Mercury.
Batth was invited to Training Camp on May 1. She appeared in both Monarchs preseason games. On May 11 at Seattle, Batth played 20 minutes, scored six points and pulled down four boards. In the May 13 game versus Phoenix, she played seven minutes, scored three points and totaled four rebounds. The Monarchs roster now stands at 13.
