Sabres Recall Corey Tropp from Rochester

(Rochester, NY)... Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Corey Tropp has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Tropp (6'0", 195 lbs., 7/25/89) joins the Sabres on his second career recall after dressing for the team for four games from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11, 2011. In those four games in Buffalo, he recorded his first career goal and added an assist.

Tropp has seven points (4+3) in 11 games with Rochester this season. He spent 2010-11 in Portland, posting 40 points (10+30) in his first professional season.

Tropp was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
