Wilmington, NC- There was no southern hospitality displayed Saturday night as the Sea Dawgs had their best game of the season, blasting their visitors from Birmingham 111-75.
After closing the first quarter 26-22, the Dawgs went on to outscore the Sabers 85-53 en route to their largest victory margin of the season. Donielle Davis led the team in scoring with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Crowd favorite Kadiri Richards had a great defensive game grabbing 16 rebounds and smashing 5 block shots.
The 75 points allowed was the lowest point total of the season. Wilmington now moves to 4-1 on the season. Their next home game is Friday, May 21 at 7:05 against the Georgia Gwizzlies.
