San Jose SaberCats News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. (May 10, 2004) - The San Jose SaberCats Arena Football League game at Las Vegas on Sunday, May 16, has been moved to a 3:00 p.m. (PT) start and will be televised locally on KNTV (NBC11). The game was originally scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start time.
The Gladiators organization switched the start time after NBC elected not to show the game as part of its AFL on NBC package.
San Jose's final regular season road game of the 2004 season will be televised live in the Bay Area on local NBC owned and operated KNTV (NBC11). Bob Fitzgerald and Keena Turner make up the SaberCats' broadcast crew.
The SaberCats return to HP Pavilion on Saturday, May 22, when they entertain Jon Bon Jovi's Philadelphia Soul and close out the season on Sunday, May 30 when they entertain the Arizona Rattlers. Tickets for those games are available by contacting any Northern California TicketMaster outlet, online at www.ticketmaster.com and at the HP Pavilion box office. Group tickets can be purchased through the SaberCats office by calling (408) 573-5577.
