
SaberCats sign former Rattler Sebastian Barrie

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2004) â Former Arizona Rattlers lineman Sebastian Barrie today signed a one-year contract with the SaberCats adding depth to the team's offensive and defensive lines, announced SaberCats' general manager Terry Malley.
Barrie, who spent his entire five-year Arena Football League career with the Rattlers, recorded a total of 47 tackles and eight sacks for Arizona. He led the Rattlers last season with 3.5 sacks to go along with 20.5 tackles.
A Liberty University alum, Barrie signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 1992 and has spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles before signing with the Rattlers in 1999.
The SaberCats return to action Sunday, February 22nd, in Los Angeles to take on the division rival Avengers on NBC at 12:00pm. San Jose opens its home schedule, Saturday, February 28th against the Grand Rapids Rampage at HP Pavilion at 7:30pm.
