
Philadelphia Soul announce roster moves

PHILADELPHIA â The Philadelphia Soul, of the Arena Football League, announced they have promoted offensive/defensive lineman Nate Bell from the practice squad and released offensive specialist Gunnard Twyner. The team also announced that they have signed Lavante Epson to the practice squad.
Bell originally joined the Soul as a free agent on November 5, 2003 and spent the preseason with the Soul before being placed on the released/injured list on January 31st. Bell spent the last three years with the New York Dragons of the Arena Football League where he recorded 25 tackles, six pass breakups and three quarterback hurries.
Twyner was selected in the fifth round of the 2003 Expansion Draft and spent 2003 with the Buffalo Destroyers.
The Soul will travel to Dallas tomorrow to face the Desperados on Sunday, February 15th at 4 p.m. The game will be shown live on UPN-57 in Philadelphia. The Soul will then return home to face the Columbus Destroyers at the Wachovia Spectrum, Saturday February 21 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for that game are still available.
