
Ryan Sets Franchise Record In Attack Loss

Owen Sound Attack News Release
Bobby Ryan assisted on Owen Sound first goal of the game at 9:28 of the second period on the power play to set the all time franchise scoring record. He now has 119 goals and 177 assists for 296 career OHL points. He takes over the franchise lead which was previously held by Andrew Brunette with 295 career OHL points.
Scott Tregunna scored the only other goal for the Attack on the power play however it was the London Knights that picked up the 8-2 win at the Bayshore to spoil the celebration.
The Owen Sound Attack enters the All Star break with 52 points with a record of 23 wins, 20 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses. They remain tied with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for 7th in the Western Conference but are seeded 8th with a lower win percentage.
The Attack will play their next 5 games on the road as the 2007 Ontario Special Olympic Winter Games move into the Bayshore. They do not come back to home ice until Saturday, February 10 at 7:30pm when they host the Kitchener Rangers, sponsored by Superior Propane.
