
Ryan Karr Comes Back to Memphis

Southaven, MS-The Memphis Xplorers of the af2 have been re-assigned WR/LB Ryan Karr by the league office.
Karr played in every game with Memphis during their 2004 playoff season. He had 46 catches for a total of 644 yards, which was the second best on the team. Karr caught 12 touchdown passes, including a 44-yarder against Bossier-Shreveport in the third game of the season.
Defensively, Karr was a valuable asset to the Xplorers, compiling 67 total tackles, which was second on the team, and defending four passes. His five forced fumbles were tied for the best in the af2 in 2004. He also added one interception. On special teams Karr returned four kicks for a total of 38 yards.
Karr contributed to 74 total points for the Xplorers last season, placing him third on the team behind OS Kevin Prentiss and K Steven Green.
"Ryan Karr was the most consistent player last season," commented Memphis Head Coach Danton Barto. "He improved in each and every game last season. I am looking for him to have a breakout season this year. Ryan is a leader by example, and in my opinion one of the best WR/LB's in the af2."
During the playoff game against Florida last season, Karr had two receptions and two tackles.
