Rush To Host Kicker Tryout

The Chicago Rush will host an open tryout for kickers at Allstate Arena on Tuesday, February 5, the team announced today.
The tryout, which is open to kickers only, will begin with registration at 12:30 p.m., followed by the tryout at 1 p.m.
All kickers will be tested in four different areas - kickoffs, extra-points, field goals (both mid and long-range) and specialty onside kicks. If kicker is not proficient in ANY of these types of kicks, the workout may end BEFORE he completes all four areas.
"You never know when an injury may occur and we will be looking for a good kicker," said Rush head coach Mike Hohensee. "This tryout will allow us to get a good look at the available kicking talent as we head into the 2008 season."
The cost of the tryout is $50 per person. Any player wishing to register in advance should contact Ryan Leonard or Scott Bailey at (847) 252-7334.
