Rush to Announce Goaltender Signings Via New App

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush are proud to announce the launch of the brand new Rush mobile app available through the Apple Store or Google Play. The app is free and will give fans an unprecedented behind the scenes look into the team. To celebrate its launch, the Rush will announce their first goalie signings of the 2013-14 offseason via the new app on Friday, September 20th at 3pm.
"This app is going to change the way we connect with the best fans in the CHL," said Rush General Manager and Head Coach Joe Ferras. "To have the capabilities to provide them with different forms of multimedia at any time of the day and directly in the palm of their hand will be incredible. We have so many ways that want to reach out to our fans, such as behind-the-scenes footage of what it's like being a pro hockey player, photos and roster updates. The possibilities are endless, and the best part is it's entirely free."
The app is the first of its kind that the Rush have launched. Fans can post updates, share photos, check-in, and interact with other Rush faithful from the mobile app. Along with keeping up with roster movement and upcoming schedule, the app will allow fans to listen to all home and away games on 100.3 the FOX. The Rush app will also feature exclusive insider videos as well as notifications for game scoring, special events, and the most up to date and latest Rush news.
The Rush are set to make their first goaltender announcements tomorrow at 3pm, exclusively through the new app which is currently available for download.
