Rush Set to Tribute Saskatchewan Agriculture Industry
February 19, 2019 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Saskatchewan Rush News Release
Saskatoon, SK - No one is tougher than a farmer from Saskatchewan. This Friday, the Saskatchewan Rush will be showing appreciation for our farmers and all those who work in agriculture across the province.
Friday's game is officially branded as Agriculture Appreciation Night, presented by Finning. The Rush will be facing off against the Colorado Mammoth, on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre.
The team will be wearing special edition (Heart) Saskatchewan Farmer jerseys, featuring the Saskatchewan flag, a Rush branded tractor, wheat patterns, and Rush partners Wheaton GM, TD, and Finning.
These game-worn jerseys will be distributed to some of the hardest working farmers in Saskatchewan. We encourage Rush Nation to nominate the hardest working farmer they know, here.
Also at the playing surface, will be a (Heart) Saskatchewan Farmers dasherboard. Up in the stands, the first 8000 fans in attendance will receive a (Heart) Saskatchewan Farmers button.
Tickets are still available for Agriculture Appreciation Night, here. Doors open at 6PM and ball-drop is slated for 7:30PM. At halftime, the fan favourite duelling pianos, Burn N' Mahn, will be performing.
