Edmonton Rush News Release
Edmonton Rush GM/Head Coach Paul Day made his second trade this off-season with division rival Colorado yesterday by sending veteran forward Jason Wulder to the Mammoth in exchange for a second-round draft pick in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft.
"Once we acquired Mike Accursi from Rochester, we had a lot of quality players on the right side," said Day. "By acquiring the draft pick, it gives us the opportunity to fill another need in our lineup."
Wulder finished fourth in Rush scoring last season with 45 points and his 35 helpers set a franchise single-season record for assists. The 12-year veteran also had two game-winning goals for the Rush.
The Rush will host the 2008 NLL All-Star Game this year. Full details will be available once the 2008 season schedule is announced.
