NEW YORK - The Chicago Rush (8-2) became the first team to clinch a playoff berth in the 2008 playoffs with San Jose's (6-5), 63-42, defeat of the Arizona Rattlers (4-6) on Friday.
Chicago, who leads the Mitsubishi Motors Central Division and has a bye week in Week 11, returns to action next week and hosts the Los Angeles Avengers (4-6) on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN2 HD, ESPN360.com).
