BATTLE CREEK, MI - Anticipation as well as excitement continue to build with mountains of momentum as Battle Creek's professional hockey franchise, the RUMBLE BEES, are getting ready and set to open their inaugural training camp at their hockey home of The Rink Battle Creek, downtown in our town.

Under the pair of watchful eyes of Head Coach Clint Hagmaier, the RUMBLE BEES are expected to greet approximately 30-candidates who will be vying for a total of 20-roster slots when first reveille is sounded for the 9:45 am initial session this upcoming Monday, October 14th. It will be the first of two-a-day workouts which have been scheduled for the dates of Monday, October 14th and Tuesday, October 15th. Single sessions are on the docket for Wednesday, October 16th, Thursday, October 17th and Friday, October 18th.

The one full week of the RUMBLE BEES premiere appearance training camp week will be culminated with an Inter-squad Scrimmage Game, Saturday, October 19th at 5:00 pm at The Rink Battle Creek.

Among the roster candidates listed on Battle Creek's training camp roster will be four goaltenders, seven defensemen and 16-forwards. Additionally, there are two players who will broach the training camp rituals on the club's injured reserve list.

Coach Hagmaier is feeling many positive thoughts about his team's first on-ice appointment as a bona fide franchise in the FPHL. "We are looking forward to having our guys get on the ice and to show what they can do. This is an exciting time for our organization as we approach our first season here in Battle Creek. We are confident that we have done our homework well and that we have secured a good solid combination of skilled and talented player personnel blended with high-character, quality and a hard-working mentality. It is our objective to build a professional hockey club that the Battle Creek community will relate to and be especially proud of."

The training camp for the RUMBLE BEES as well as the entire FPHL is one of brevity. For the RUMBLE BEES, the organization is already pointing in the direction with all arrows aiming high in the sky for their grand opening weekend bonanza extravaganza. Battle Creek's FPHL entry will commence the campaign with a pair of home appearances on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25TH and SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH when they lock antlers with their West Division rivals, the Danville Dashers at The Rink Battle Creek. Opening faceoff both nights is set for 7:35 PM.
