
RSL and Jersey's Sports Grill to Host Viewing Party for Saturday's 2008 Road Opener

SALT LAKE CITY (Wednesday, April 2, 2008) - Real Salt Lake is proud to announce that the club will partner with Jersey's Sports Grill (677 S. 200 West in downtown Salt Lake City) to host the first official RSL Watch Party of the 2008 season this Saturday, April 5, when RSL faithful are invited to gather together to watch RSL take on Chivas USA. The fun at Jersey's will begin at 7:30 p.m., when the establishment's spacious back room will open up for RSL fans and the live, on-site broadcast of KALL 700 Sports' RSL First Kick pre-game show with Spencer Checketts and Spencer Warne, with kick-off to follow at 8:30 p.m. MT.
Under new management, Jersey's welcomes fans both young and old to the restaurant on Saturday to enjoy the contest between the '05 expansion partners with their families and fellow RSL faithful. In addition to the camaraderie, fans in attendance will receive RSL giveaways and can enter raffles to win RSL memorabilia and merchandise, including the grand prize package of one night's stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City and four VIP flex vouchers redeemable for any of RSL's remaining 2008 regular season contests at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Rookie Defenders Tony Beltran & David Horst to Appear Next Two Nights at Real Sports Kiosk at Fashion Place Mall
The first Real Sports' Autograph Session of the 2008 season at Fashion Place Mall (6161 S. State Street in Murray) will take place tonight, Wednesday, April 2, from 6:00-7:00 p.m., featuring RSL's top overall pick in last January's MLS SuperDraft, DF Tony Beltran. The UCLA product will be on hand to provide his signature on all the new '08 RSL gear available, including the Real Sports Item of the Week - the new 2008 yellow training top, available through April 12 for just $35 ($10 off the $45 retail price, discount not available with any other offer). Another rookie defender will take over the autograph duties on Thursday night, when David Horst will be ready with sharpie in hand to greet fans and shoppers at Fashion Place Mall from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
