Royals Welcome Blazers for Weekday Doubleheader

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals will host the Kamloops Blazers for a pair of games next week following a three-game road trip that ends Saturday night in Seattle. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The two teams have met four times already this season with Kamloops winning three of the four contests. Victoria's lone win over Kamloops came back on September 28th when Logan Nelson scored in the shootout to give the Royals a 4-3 win.

In advance of the club's annual Pink in the Rink game on Saturday, January 26th, select special edition pink jerseys will be on display at the Guest Services booth within the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre concourse at both games. Game-worn Pink in the Rink Jerseys will be available through a silent auction until the second intermission on January 26th when the Royals host the Vancouver Giants. Pink in the Rink Family Packs are now available at the Select Your Tickets Box Office and include four tickets and two limited edition scarves for just $55.00! With each Family Pack purchased, $10.00 will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Tuesday, January 15th

Tuesday's game will see Xplornet host a draw for a team-autographed Royals jersey at their booth located in the concourse near Gate 1! During the first intermission, Tim Bits Minor Hockey presented by 100.3 The Q! will feature players from Victoria Minor Hockey Association. The second intermission will see three lucky contestants compete in Langford Lanes' Pins & Win for a prize package courtesy of Langford Lanes!

During the game, fans will be able to purchase tickets for the End of the Roll 50/50 draw and foam pucks for the Old House Village Chuck-A-Puck. Prizes for the evening's Chuck-A-Puck will include a one-night stay and spa treatment for two courtesy of Old House Village, a Family 4-Pack to the Royal BC Museum and two adult day lift passes from Mount Washington Alpine Resort! Proceeds from the evening's End of the Roll 50/50 will benefit the Victoria Swim Club and the Old House Village Chuck-A-Puck will support the Parklands Hockey Academy.

Wednesday, January 16th Wednesday night is Student Night at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and will feature dedicated school sections, discounted tickets and special student promotions! The first intermission on Wednesday night will see the Dodge RAM T-Shirt Toss and the Dodge CHL Family All-Stars feature!
