Royals Host Silvertips on Sunday Afternoon

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals will face the Everett Silvertips, on Sunday at 2:05 p.m., in Game 6 of Round 1 of the 2017 WHL Playoff presented by Gillis Plumbing, Dodd's Furniture, 2 Burley Men, Empire Donuts, and League and Williams.
SHUTTING IT DOWN: During last night's Game 4 victory, the Royals held the lead after both the first and second periods. Through the 2016-17 regular season, Victoria held a mark of 27-1-1-1 when the club earned a lead after the first 20 minutes. The record improved to 32-1-0-0 when they held the lead after the second stanza. The club has an all-time playoff record of 18-5 when leading after two periods of play.
GAME WINNERS: With a goal last night, Dante Hannoun has now recorded three markers in his post-season career with all three of them being game winning tallies. Hannoun finished the regular season tied for the second-most game winners on the Royals with five. The native of Delta, BC has also collected the third-most powerplay assists this post-season with three.
