
Royals announce home game times for 2005 season

OMAHA â The Omaha Royals, who previously released their 2005 schedule on September 14th, today announce their home game times for next season. A 2005 Royals schedule follows this release.
Also, while Americans are going to the polls today, the Royals remind their fans that they may vote on a new slogan for the club's 2005 season through this Friday, November 5th.
The Royals will again play a 144-game, Pacific Coast League schedule in 2005, hosting 72 games at Rosenblatt Stadium. Omaha is now a member of the PCL's American Conference Northern Division, along with Iowa, Memphis and Nashville. Albuquerque, New Orleans, Oklahoma and Round Rock are in the American Conference Southern Division. The Royals will play 16 games (eight at home) against those seven American Conference foes.
The Royals will face each Pacific Conference opponent four times, traveling to the Northern Division cities (Colorado Springs, Portland, Salt Lake and Tacoma), while hosting the Southern Division clubs (Fresno, Las Vegas, Sacramento and Tucson).
Voting on the Royals slogan began on October 22nd. Fans may choose from "Your Heartland Team", "Get To The Show", or "Best Catch in Town" or make their own suggestion.
