
Rox Pitcher Added To All-Star Game

(Brockton, MA â July 25, 2003) The Brockton Rox left-handed starting pitcher Scott Martin was added to the World Team in the upcoming All-Star Game on July 29 in Quebec.
In 12 games, Martin has a 4-3 record with a 4.09 ERA. In 55 innings, he has struck out 40 batters while walking 16.
Scott Martin resides in St. John, New Brunswick and will be representing the World Team at Le Stade De Quebec. Martin becomes the fifth Rox player and only the second pitcher to represent Brockton in the midsummer's classic.
The Brockton Rox play their home games in the city of Brockton's new, state-of-the-art baseball facility, Campanelli Stadium adjacent to the Shaw $B!G (Js Center, a meeting and banquet facility. The club plays a 92-game schedule in the eight-team independent Northeast League.
