Rox Comeback Attempt Halted by Rain

Brockton, Mass. - Tuesday night's contest between the Brockton Rox and the Nashua Silver Knights was postponed early in the game due to steady rainfall in the Brockton area. No makeup date has been determined.

Nashua (33-11) roared out to an early, 7-0, lead, spearheaded by a six-run second inning. After the Silver Knights tacked on another run in the top of the third, Brockton (22-22) stormed from behind to pull within four behind a trio of runs in the bottom half of the frame.

However, the game went into a rain delay heading into the top of the fourth due to the steady rainfall and was eventually postponed as showers continued to fall throughout the evening.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday night's contest can exchange them for tickets to any one of the remaining Brockton Rox home games.

The Rox hit the road to face the Seacoast Mavericks on Wednesday night at 6 p.m., while the Silver Knights host the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
