Rowdies Launch Official Mobile App with Lucid Appeal

TAMPA, Fla. (May 3, 2013) -- The Tampa Bay Rowdies are excited to announce that the official app is now available for both Android and iOS. The club had originally announced earlier in the year that they had partnered with Lucid Appeal to launch the club's first mobile app.

To download, search "Rowdies" in either the iTunes App Store or in the Android Google Play store.

The app provides up-to-date team news, stats, schedules, images and video gallery, while allowing users to create profiles to connect with other app users. In addition, push notifications will let users know of exclusive deals only available to those who have downloaded the app. With Twitter integration and an in-app messaging system, Rowdies fans can now catch up with other users on the latest Rowdies news.

Whether you are at the stadium or at your house, the official Rowdies app allows you to catch every match using the "Watch Live" feature. If you are at our games, "Around Al Lang" features a list of Restaurants and Bars where fans can go after the match to enjoy the best food around St. Petersburg.

This app is a step forward in developing a complete mobile strategy for the Rowdies that will help the club create a mobile community for its fans to connect with each other and with the team through an engaging and dynamic interface.
