CARY, N.C. (May 3, 2013) - The Carolina RailHawks have acquired former University of North Carolina All-American, Enzo Martinez, through a loan with Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer. Martinez joined the RailHawks at training this week and will be eligible to play on Saturday when the RailHawks travel to face Minnesota United FC at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome at 8:00pm ET. In the 2012 MLS SuperDraft, Real Salt Lake chose Martinez with the 17th overall draft pick.

Martinez joins former Tar Heel alumni, defenders Eddie Ababio and Jordan Graye, and forward Brian Shriver on a RailHawks roster that also includes eight other RailHawks who played youth and/or college soccer in North Carolina: forwards Brian Ackley (Cary, NC) and Zack Schilawski (Cary, NC and Wake Forest University), midfielders Austin da Luz (Winston-Salem, NC and Wake Forest University), Floyd Franks (UNC-Charlotte), and Nick Millington (Raleigh, NC and Elon University), defenders Austin King (Wilson, NC and Elon University) and Justin Willis (Raleigh, NC and NC State), and goalkeeper Akira Fitzgerald (Wake Forest University).
