West Texas Roughnecks News Release
Odessa, TX: With a 39-11 record on the field and a slew of accolades off of it, it's easy to see why the Odessa Roughnecks have been a continued success in the Permian Basin. The team is celebrating its three year anniversary today and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one that has helped make the Roughnecks such a big success. The Odessa Roughnecks are the team to beat in the Intense Football League, bringing home the 2006 Intense Bowl, the Executive of the year, Franchise of the Year, IFL Mascot of the year, and most importantly, Best Media Coverage of the year awards. None of this would have been possible without the support that this community and area media have shown throughout these 3 short seasons.
"We are very confident that we can maintaining the high standard that the city has come to expect from us", stated team president Tommy Benizio, "We are working hard on expansion as well as several other projects at the league level and have our most experienced staff yet this season in the Roughnecks office leaving us very optimistic about 2007!"
Season tickets remain at the same low prices and continue to move fast. Further information about any Roughnecks related topics can be found by logging on to www.RoughnecksIFL.com, or by calling (432) 332-PASS (7277).
