Hammerheads find new home

Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release


Robstown, TX. The Corpus Christi Hammerheads are excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with Global Spectrum and Nueces County to host all home games at the Central Pavilion Arena located at Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds on Highway 77 and Highway 44.

The Central Pavilion Arena is expected to open in late December. "We are delighted to be in such a great building and a complex that once it is finished will be second to none," stated Hammerheads President Chad Dittman. The Hammerheads season will start in mid April and conclude in late July with the playoffs to immediately follow.

Entering their 4th Season the Hammerheads have compiled a 25-19 regular season record and 2-2 in the playoffs. When asked about the Hammerheads new venue Head Coach Jason McKinley who will return for his 3rd season had this to say "It is going to be an awesome place to play and it will be tough on opponents."

In the next several weeks the Hammerheads will major announcements regarding player signings and Major Corporate Partners joining the Hammerheads thriving organization.
