Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks defeated the Vancouver Warriors 14 to 5 in a convincing road win Friday night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Calgary dominated the first half of the game in a group effort that saw goals from seven different Riggers. Tanner Cook opened the scoring for the away side on a powerplay before Jesse King, Kyle Waters, Shane Simpson, Jeff Cornwall and Zach Herreweyers each added one to the tally, with Haiden Dickson netting two. Only one goal from Mitch Jones for the Warriors left the home side down 8-1 at the half.

Special teams from both sides were on display in the third. Shane Simpson netted a short-handed goal, before Logan Schuss netted one on a Warriors powerplay. Tyler Pace then scored two powerplay goals for Calgary to bring the home side up to 11-2 going into the final frame. The fourth saw an equal number of goals from both sides. Haiden Dickson scored two for Calgary, both on a powerplay, and Zach Herreweyers scored the final for the Riggers to take the game by nine.

Tonight saw Dan Taylor achieve his 100th career assist, the forward finishing his night with two points from two assists. Tyler Pace was the top points scorer for Calgary, logging seven points (2g, 5a). Haiden Dickson also had a strong outing for the Riggers, tallying four goals. Jesse King (1, 3a), Zach Herreweyers (2g, 2a) and Kyle Waters (1g, 3a) also ended their nights with four points apiece.

Christian Del Bianco was terrific in net for Calgary, stopping 48 of 53 shots faced.
