
Roughnecks Open Player Tryouts this Sunday

MIDLAND, TX. : As a reminder to all those interested, the West Texas Roughnecks will be holding open player tryouts this Sunday, November 7 from Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. Open player tryouts are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. and those that participate will be tested in several workouts in relation to the indoor football game.
Players must pay a fee of $50.00 the day of the open tryouts in order to participate, however, players that pre-register before November 7 will only have to pay a $40.00 fee. Participants must wear proper attire for the open tryouts including T-shirts, running shorts & running shoes. ROUGHNECKS ONLINE CHARITY AUCTION FOR MARCH OF DIMES UNDERWAY -
The West Texas Roughnecks are currently holding an online charity auction to help raise proceeds for the March of Dimes foundation which began back on Monday, November 1. The Roughnecks organization has developed a traditional standard for supporting charity groups throughout the Permian Basin community, and with this special occasion the Roughnecks are looking to raise $2,500 in proceeds for March of Dimes. The Roughnecks are currently auctioning off vintage Roughnecks merchandise including autographed jerseys, hats, and shirts through Ebay.com.
