The Tulsa Roughnecks FC is back on the road this Saturday, August 18, for its second meeting this season with the Real Monarchs SLC. Kickoff at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CDT. It will be the first of five straight away matches for TRFC.

Tulsa will enter the match coming off a victory against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, its second of the season. The Roughnecks are 2-2-3 in games since head coach Michael Nsien took over the team.

The Real Monarchs SLC are unbeaten at home this season, going 10-0-1 in 11 home matches this season, with their last home win coming on August 8 against Reno 1868 FC.

Salt Lake City recorded a 3-2 come-from-behind win in Tulsa back on March 24 in the first meeting this year between the two clubs. SLC scored goals in the 89th and 90+2' minutes to gain the win. Joaquin Rivas had both of the goals for the Roughnecks, while Paris Gee had an assist in the match.

The Monarchs are 3-0-2 in their last five matches. The Roughnecks are without a win away from ONEOK Field, going 0-5-5 in away matches.

All-time, Tulsa is 2-2-3 in seven previous matches against the Monarchs. The Roughnecks have never won or lost in Salt Lake City, picking up draws in all three previous trips to Utah.

Saturday's match will be steamed live on ESPN+ for all fans with a subscription to the service.
