
Roughnecks Host OKC Saturday in Black Gold Derby

It is the first edition of the 2016 Black Gold Derby as Tulsa Roughnecks F.C. (TRFC) host its cross-state rivals the Oklahoma City Energy at ONEOK Field. It is the first of four meetings this season between the two clubs.

Kickoff at 7:00PM (Gates open at 6:00PM)
FIREWORKS
It's the Black Gold Derby followed by a huge Fireworks Display following the match. It's all presented by the News On 6 and 97.1 The Sports Animal!
THE TWO TEAMS
TRFC will enter the match with 7 points and a 2-7-1 record through its first ten matches of the regular season. Oklahoma City comes into the match with 13 points and a 3-1-4 mark through eight matches.
THE SERIES
Tulsa and Oklahoma City met four times during the regular season last year with each team winning one match. The two teams also played to a pair of draws. OKC was the opponent for the Roughnecks first-ever game in the USL, a 1-1 draw before 8,335 fans at ONEOK Field.

BACK IN ACTION
The match will mark the first action for the Roughnecks since a home match against Saint Louis on May 21. The Roughnecks had a rare weekend off last week after playing five matches in 18 days to open the month of May. It will mark one of two home matches for Tulsa during the month of June as Los Angeles Galaxy II will visit ONEOK Field on Friday, June 17.
OCHOA STILL IN FORM
TRFC captain Sammy Ochoa has been in top form recently, scoring in four straight matches for the Roughnecks. He leads Tulsa with six goals and three assists. The six goals tie him for fourth most is USL, while the three assists are tied for second most in the league.
ORANGE KITS
The Roughnecks will wear their traditional home, orange home kits for Saturday's match. Oklahoma City will be in its all blue kits.
MARCH TO THE MATCH
At 6:45pm, all fans are invited to participate in the March to the Match that will be led by the Roustabouts. The March will begin at the Oil Derrick Entrance and conclude at The Rig, the seating section of the Roustabouts.
AFTER PARTY AT LEFTY'S ON GREENWOOD Roughnecks players will be available for photos and autographs on the field at the conclusion of the match. Later, the players will also be at an After Match Party at Lefty's on Greenwood which is located across the street from ONEOK Field at the corner of Archer Street and Greenwood Avenue.

Tickets for the match, and all other matches this season, are available online at TulsaRoughnecksFC.com, over the telephone at (918)744-5901 or in-person at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office.
THE BROADCASTS
Fans in Tulsa can listen to the match live on AM 1300 with Jeremie Poplin and David Saunders calling the action. The pregame show will begin at 6:45PM.
The match will also be shown live online through the USL Match Center on YouTube.
