West Texas Roughnecks News Release

ODESSA, TX. With a perfect record of 5-0, the Odessa Roughnecks have handled each opponent faced in their inaugural NIFL season. This Saturday, April 23rd, the Roughnecks face a team who has also earned 5 wins and suffered just one loss, a game that was their second in two nights! Earlier this month, the Swashbucklers traveled to play two games in a single weekend and after winning Friday, ran out of gas in their Saturday match-up against the Montgomery (Alabama) Maulers who handed the talented team their only loss of the season.

"This will be, without a doubt, our greatest challenge so far this season. I respect both the coaching and quality of athlete on this Louisiana team. I do however feel up to the challenge and believe in our team. I look forward to Saturday night.", stated Roughnecks head coach Chris Williams.

The tailgate party begins at 5:00 PM and kick off is at 7:11 PM this Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Roughnecks Ball cap compliments of Ameripride Linen and Uniform Company. With a near capacity crowd and decisive 5th straight victory last week, fans are encouraged to get their tickets as soon as possible to ensure a good seat. Further information and tickets can be obtained by calling (432) 332-PASS (7277) or by logging onto the team's website at www.RoughnecksNIFL.com
