Marshals Look to Continue Win Streak Against New Jersey

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Marshals of the National Indoor Football League are looking to continue their 3 game win streak this weekend as they take on the New Jersey Xtreme this Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.

Running back Rayshawn Askew reached a career milestone last weekend in an 81-74 win over the Dayton Warbirds as he scored his 100th career NIFL touchdown. He's looking to keep the scoring alive against New Jersey this weekend.

The Marshals added defensive lineman Tim Daniels to the roster this week to replace an injured Jesse Olverson. Olverson strained his hamstring in the Dayton win and will be out for two weeks.

Bengals second round draft pick, Odell Thurman, will be on hand to toss the coin the pre-game activities. Thurman is a linebacker out of the University of Georgia and began rookie camp with the Bengals on Thursday.

The Marshals look to improve their record to 4-2 with a win over the 0-5 New Jersey Xtreme this Saturday April 30, 2005 at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.
