Roughnecks announce Kids Free Night

Odessa, TX: Never before done in the Roughnecks three year history, the team is celebrating it's record breaking win streak by inviting the children on the Permian Basin to attend the next home game for FREE! With the purchase of each adult ticket to the Saturday, July 8th game versus the Laredo Lobos, the Roughnecks are offering a child ticket at no cost compliments of Petroplex Office Supply in Odessa. This offer is good in any price level seating and must be purchased through the team offices or the Ector County Coliseum Box office. Roughnecks lineman Jermaine Blakely stated, "Having children, I know how hard it is to take the whole family out. This is very exciting for the families of our community and we as players can't wait to see kids all over the arena next Saturday!"
The game will also include a free set of team trading cards to the first 1,000 fans through the doors compliments of Chick-fil-A and one lucky fan will be randomly selected to attempt a field goal kick for a chance to win a new set of kitchen appliances from Direct Maytag valued at over $15,000!
In the Community: Members of the team will be spending time with over 100 kids at the Trinity Presbyterian Church Learning Center tomorrow, Thursday, June 29th at 1:00 PM. The players will be showing the kids some of the finer points of playing football successfully and even playing in a mini-game with them. The players will also be speaking to the children on living a successful life and signing autographs. Members of the media are encouraged to attend this special event at the Children's Learning Center located at 2800 W. Louisiana in Midland.
