Rosario's Two Homers, Career Day Secure Series Split on Sunday

The Somerset Patriots (8-7) defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (8-7) by a score of 7-3 at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

The win ensured a series split for the Patriots with the Fisher Cats.

The Patriots stole five bases in the game, bringing their series total to 22 stolen bases in six games, continuing to pace the Eastern League with a total of 42 stolen bases.

RHP Blas Castano (5.0 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 H, 3 BB, 6 K) started for the Patriots and earned his first Double-A win, coming in his second start of the season and third total for the Patriots.

The Patriots' bullpen combination of Lisandro Santos, Indigo Diaz, Steven Jennings and Zac Houston held the Fisher Cats off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game, each pitching one inning.

RF Jeisson Rosario (3-for-4, 4 RBI, 2 R, 2 HR, K) accomplished the first two-home run game of his minor league career, coming in his sixth season and his 504th career game.

Rosario also tied his career-high of 4 RBIs for the fourth time in his career and for the first time since 8/10/22 vs.Hartford.

SS Max Burt (1-for-3, RBI, 2 R, HR, K) hit his team-leading fourth home run of the season in the fifth inning, adding on his team-high 13th RBI of the season.

Burt ends the day tied for second in the Eastern League in both categories.
