
Roosters Unveil New Logo

At a press conference held today at Don McBride Stadium, Richmond Roosters President Rob g, along with the rest of the Roosters staff, unveiled the new look for the 2004 tenth anniversary Richmond Roosters season. An updated, cutting edge new logo was presented tothe media and local officials, along with the tenth anniversary "Celebrating 10 Years of Baseball" logo. The new logos were developed by Jeff Huffine of Huffine Design in Hagerstown, Indiana along with the senior management staff of the Roosters.
Director of Tickets and Merchandise, Patrick Davidson, talked about the new seaon ticket packages for 2004, including more benefits and lower prices, $250 for box seats and $125 for reserved grandstand seats or lawn seats. "We wanted to make sure that nothing stood in the way of Rooster fans and their families from enjoying the nation's pasttime at Don McBride Stadium this summer" said Quigg. With the recent increase of the Frontier League schedule from 90 to 96 games, the value got even better. The season ticket price includes all 48 home games plus playoff games for the 2004 season.
Also announced was the SUPER SIX PACK, a package that includes the six most popular nights on the upcoming 2004 schedule. This uniquely packaged ticket option includes six game tickets as baseball cards, featuring former and current Richmond Roosters players. One of those players, Matt Schweitzer, who was signed by the Kansas City Royals organization at the end of the 2003 season, was present to help introduce the new logos. The SUPER SIX PACK gives the fan the same seat for the six most popular games of the season for a cost of only $21 each.
Vice-President/General Manager Deanna Beaman gave details of the Richmond Roosters Richmond Square Mall Kiosk. Ticket packages and the brand new 2004 Roosters merchandise will be available beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving for the remainder of the year. "The season tickets and SUPER SIX PACK make fantastic stocking stuffers along with a wide variety of Roosters merchandise with the new team identity for your baseball fan" said Beaman. "We invite everyone to stop by and see the new logos and the great new merchandise at the mall this Christmas shopping season."
The Roosters were joined by Frontier League Deputy Commissioner Kevin Rouch for the announcements this morning. Those at the press conference got a sneak peak at the new luxery suites being constructed in the Roosters office building. The climate controlled suites will offer a nostalgic twist, with seats rescued from the demolition of historic Riverfront Stadium (Cinergy Field).
