Ronaldo Damus Ranked Number One, Ricardo Pepi Number Six in USL's 20 Under 20 List

Frisco, Texas - North Texas Soccer Club and USL League One Golden Boot leader Ronaldo Damus and FC Dallas Homegrown player Ricardo Pepi have been ranked as No. 1 and No. 6, respectively, in USL's fourth installment of the 20 Under 20 list. This year's list ranks the best 20 players born before Jan. 1, 1999 from both USL League One and the USL Championship.

Damus, 20, has 16 goals in 20 appearances for North Texas SC, averaging a goal every 87 minutes. He scored two hat tricks this season and has earned USL League One Player of the Week honors twice and Team of the Week honors on five occasions.

The striker has made eight appearances for Haiti's U-20 National Team and started a World Cup Qualifier vs. Costa Rica for the senior national team in 2016. He recently earned a call-up to the U-23 Haiti National Team for its Olympic Qualifying match against Barbados on September 23 where he scored in the 4-0 win.

Pepi, 16, scored nine goals for North Texas SC, including a hat trick on his professional debut for in the club's inaugural home opener against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. He has also earned USL League One Team of the Week honors five times.

Pepi was the 26th Academy-product signed to a professional contract by the FC Dallas organization on June 21, 2019 and the first to utilize the new USL League One development pathway when he signed with North Texas SC on December 6, 2018. At 16 years and 163 days old, Pepi was the fourth youngest player to sign with FC Dallas behind Bryan Reynolds, Dante Sealy and Jesus Ferreira.
