Rome Renegades Player Spotlight: Jermaine Collins

Rome, Ga. - The Rome Renegades would like to introduce Defensive Back Jermaine Collins. Collins, 6-1, 190 pounds, played football at Albany State University. Collins was an All-SIAC Conference Corner Back in 2003 and was named to the All-State Black Classic Bowl in 2004.

When asked about living in Rome, Collins, from Hawkinsville, GA, said "It is a pretty good town." Collins said, "It is a good feeling to be a Renegade. I really wanted somewhere to play ball and they picked me up. It was definitely a good move." His personal goals for the season include to have 1 interception each game and hopefully to move up to the next level. His team goal includes winning the Championship. When asked if he could be anybody in the world, who would it be, Collins replied, "Champ Bailey."
