Rome Braves Announce Opening Day Roster

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves have released their 2012 roster and begin the first homestand on Thursday April 12th against the Charleston Riverdogs at 7pm. The team opens on the road April 5th at Charleston. "This is an exciting young team," says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn. "We look forward to our tenth season of baseball under the leadership of Randy Ingle and our fine coaching staff."

Opening night April 12th features former Rome Braves manager Rocket Wheeler throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. On Friday night, fans receive magnetic schedules presented by Dominos and Saturday night features a post game fireworks extravaganza. The home stand concludes Wednesday April 18th with a 1pm game.
