Medford Rogues News Release
MEDFORD, OR - Despite a major comeback to tie the game and eventually take the lead, the Medford Rogues fell 11-8 to the Bellingham Bells in 10 innings Wednesday night at Harry and David Field.
The Rogues took advantage of their opportunities, scoring eight runs on only five hits, three by Ryan Teel. Teel had a single and a pair of doubles. Ray McIntire had the other two hits, a pair of singles.
Bellingham had a 4-0 lead through four innings but the Rogues rallied to tie the game at five after seven innings. They took an 8-7 lead after eight innings, in part because of a two-run error. Bellingham scored a run on an infield hit with two outs in the top of the ninth though and after the Bells held Medford scoreless in the bottom half of the inning, they took the lead for good on a three-run double by Ryan Malone.
The Rogues continue WCL play tomorrow against the Bellingham Bells at 6:35 PM at Harry and David Field.
