
Rocky Mountain's Reid Named to Northern Conference All-Star Roster

The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Rocky Mountain goaltender Scott Reid has been named to the Northern Conference roster for the CHL All-Star Game in Broomfield, Colorado scheduled for Wednesday. It will be his fourth all-star appearance.
Reid will replace Mississippi goaltender Sebastien Centomo who was injured in the RiverKings game on Saturday night versus the Youngstown SteelHounds. Centomo was originally selected by the Northern Conference head coach, Tracy Egeland of the Rage, to be one of the reserve goaltenders for the North. Centomo is 13-9-1 this season with a 2.48 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.
Reid comes into the game as the backstop of the CHL's top team, the Rocky Mountain Rage, and as the league leader with 18 wins. His overall record is 18-3-2 with a 3.02 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. The Grand Prairie, Alberta native has played in three previous all-star games representing San Angelo twice and Corpus Christi once.
The 2008 CHL All-Star Game will take place at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colorado, home of the Rocky Mountain Rage, on Wednesday, January 16th. The game can be seen LIVE on the CHL Network with face-off scheduled for 7:05 PM (MST).
