Rocks individual game tickets available February 2

Wilmington, DE- The Wilmington Blue Rocks announce that individual game tickets for the 2004 Carolina League baseball season will go on sale to the public on Monday, February 2 at 9:00 a.m.

The Blue Rocks offer three different options for fans to purchase individual game tickets for the 12th season of Blue Rocks baseball in the Carolina League.

Fans may purchase tickets in person at the Wilmington Blue Rocks ticket office located at Frawley Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The ticket office will also be open from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays throughout the month of March.

Fans may also purchase tickets over the phone by calling (302) 888-BLUE (2583) during normal business hours and via the Internet at the Blue Rocks official website www.bluerocks.com.

"We are extremely excited that our 2004 individual tickets will be placed on sale early in February," said Jared Forma, director of ticket sales. "We are hoping to build on last season's momentum, which for the first time in Blue Rocks history tickets went on sale in February. The Blue Rocks are very fortunate to have one of the best fan bases in all of minor league baseball. With some of the new giveaways and promotions, I am confident that the 2004 season will be the most exciting and best season to date."

The Blue Rocks currently have season tickets as well six and eight-game plans available for the 2004 season. These popular packages may be purchased through the Blue Rocks ticket office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The Rocks open the 2004 Carolina League season with eight in a row on the road, beginning on Thursday, April 8 with the first four against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Atlanta). Wilmington returns home after a four-game series in Lynchburg (Pittsburgh) and opens the home portion of its schedule on Friday, April 16 against the Salem Avalanche (Houston).
