Casper Ghosts News Release
Last night the Casper Rockies failed in their attempt to get back to .500 on the season, losing to Orem 6-0. Casper managed only five hits on the night, two were off the bat of clean-up hitter Cole Garner. Dexter Fowler's 8th inning double was the lone extra base hit for Casper as well.
The Rockies were blanked by Owlz righty Jose Arredondo who went six innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six to earn the win. Rockies starter Radhames Manzueta held Orem without a hit for the first 3 1/3rd innings before the wheels fell off again for him. With the loss, Manzueta fell to 0-4 on the season.
The Rockies and Owlz will play the rubber match tonight at 7:05 before heading to Ogden for a pair of games to wrap up the road swing.
