Rockford, IL- The Rockford RiverHawks (33-32) got back on the winning track and ended their eight-game losing streak as they defeated the Evansville Otters 6-2. Kiley Vaughn went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI's and Tony Pigott went 2-for-4 with two runs scored to lead the 'Hawks offense. Josh Tomsu (5-4) picked up the victory for Rockford as he lasted six innings, scattering five hits, and allowing two runs. Jeremy Lewis (2-5) was tagged with the loss for Evansville as he gave up three runs in only three innings of work. The 'Hawks are now only five games back as Richmond defeated Gateway 4-3.
