
Rockford Rampage's Berenzon Named To 2009-2010 MISL All-Rookie Team

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Rockford Rampage midfielder Andre Berenzon was named to the 2009-2010 Major Indoor Soccer League All-Rookie Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Berenzon played in 13 matches this season, contributing three goals, two assists, eight points and six blocks. The highlight of Berenzon's season was his two-goal, four-point effort during the Rampage's home finale at the MetroCentre, a 16-10 loss to the Milwaukee Wave on Feb. 28. It was the first multi-goal game of Berenzon's professional indoor soccer career.
The 25-year-old Sao Paulo, Brazil, native played in four matches during the 2008-2009 NISL regular season but had rookie status to be considered for this season's honor.
The Baltimore Blast's Max Ferdinand was named the 2009-2010 MISL Rookie of the Year.
