
Rockets Recall Capela and Johnson from Vipers

HOUSTON - Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has recalled center Clint Capela and guard Nick Johnson from Houston's single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley.
Capela (6-10, 245, France), rejoins the Rockets where he has appeared in five games and recorded six rebounds, one assist, a steal and a block in 18 total minutes of playing time. Capela finished his fourth stint in the D-League where he has averaged 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in 22.0 minutes per game with the Vipers over the course in 23 total games (including 17 starts). The former Elan Chalon player out of France was selected by the Rockets 25th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.
Johnson (6-3, 200, Arizona), rejoins the Rockets where he has appeared in 17 games this season averaging 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game. Johnson finished his third stint in the NBA D-League where he has appeared in 17 games (including 15 starts) and averaged 19.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.4 minutes per game for the Vipers. Johnson was selected by the Rockets 42nd overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.
